Ease of Access: We wanted a weight tracking app that offered a variety of shortcuts for logging our weight.Utilizing the Health app also lets us share our weight with other health-related apps for things like dietary suggestions, workout tracking, or more detailed trend analysis. Health App Integration: Saving our weight to Apple’s Health app will give our data more portability - letting us switch apps without having to export our database to maintain historical context.We didn’t consider apps that tracked calorie intake or workouts - we just wanted a relatively simple app with a mechanism for logging our weight and most of the following key features: That’s an entirely different category and should be reviewed as such.
